The city, county, and numerous volunteers worked with critical speed to save our city's infrastructure during the historic flooding of June 2024. Our water treatment plant remained fully operational throughout the flooding despite taking on water and sandbags having to be brought in individually on kayaks. We honor these efforts with this design.
